Job Description:
Reddford House Blue Hills is looking for a skilled and passionate Mathematics and Science Teacher to join their team in the College phase. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Mathematics and Science, creating an engaging and supportive learning environment, and promoting students’ academic and personal development. The teacher will be expected to deliver high-quality instruction, foster a deep understanding of the subjects, and encourage critical thinking among students.
Key Responsibilities:

Teach Mathematics and Science to College-level students.

Develop and implement structured, engaging, and challenging lesson plans that meet curriculum objectives.

Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to help them improve.

Encourage students’ curiosity and inquiry-based learning.

Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.

Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and student learning experiences.

Provide extra support where needed, especially for students who require additional help.

Participate in departmental meetings, school events, and professional development activities.
Requirements:

A relevant degree or qualification in Mathematics, Science, or Education.

A recognized teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent) is essential.

Previous experience teaching Mathematics and Science at the College level is desirable.

Strong knowledge of curriculum requirements and teaching methodologies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A passion for teaching and helping students achieve their potential.
