About the School
Herschel Girls School follows the IEB NSC qualification and is seeking an innovative and progressive teacher to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Mathematics and capable of contributing to the school’s high standards of teaching and extracurricular development.
Key Responsibilities:

Teaching Mathematics: The successful candidate will teach Mathematics up to and including Grade 12, with a focus on fostering a love for the subject and engaging students in a dynamic learning environment.

Curriculum Design: Create a rich, relevant, and intellectually stimulating curriculum and lesson plans that nurture curiosity and intellectual agility.

Blended Learning: Integrate technology into the classroom with confidence, supporting a blended learning environment to engage students.

Extracurricular Participation: Actively engage in the broader extracurricular programme, supporting students’ overall development.

Tutoring: Serve as a Tutor within the House system, providing oversight and guidance on students’ academic progress and well-being.

Personal and Professional Development: Remain open to ongoing personal and professional development to adapt to the changing educational landscape.

Qualifications & Experience:

Essential Qualifications:
-
Demonstrable passion for teaching Mathematics at all levels, including Grade 12.

Experience in teaching FS Mathematics and IEB curricula is a plus.

A teaching qualification with relevant experience.

Full registration with SACE and a current SACE clearance certificate.

Updated Police Clearance Certificate.
