Job Purpose
Ensure effective and accurate plant maintenance to minimize downtime across Milling Division (Mill, Silo, Packing, Oil Plant).
Minimum Requirements
-
Millwright Trade Test (certified)
-
3+ years post-trade experience
-
Experience with PLC/VSD drives (advantageous)
-
Milling experience (advantageous)
-
Panel wiring experience
-
Driver’s license and own transport
-
Ability to work shifts, callouts, standby
-
Strong communication skills at all levels

Systematic working style and good workload prioritization

Report writing and analysis skills
Key Duties & Responsibilities
-
Perform routine preventive maintenance to keep machines running smoothly

Respond promptly to machine breakdowns
-
Inspect drives, motors, belts, bearings, filters; replace/repair as needed
-
Comply with Food Safety standards
-
Adhere to Health and Safety regulations
-
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
-
Inspect, operate, and test machinery
-
Train and direct workers on mechanical and electrical maintenance
-
Keep records of maintenance and repairs
-
Clean and lubricate machine parts
-
Assist with projects and machine installations
