Mossel Bay Municipality invites unemployed South African graduates residing within the Mossel Bay municipal boundaries to apply for their 2025 Internship Programmes in the following fields:

Internship Fields & Minimum Requirements:
1. Water & Sanitation Internship (Infrastructure Services)

Minimum Requirements:
-
National Diploma or Degree (minimum NQF Level 6) in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Water Care, or a related field (completed qualification required at the date of application).
-
Valid Code B driver’s licence (manual vehicle).
-
Fluent in at least two of the official languages of the Western Cape.
-
Computer literate (MS Office).
-
Must not have been previously employed as an intern in the Public Sector.

Willing to work overtime.
-

Duration: 12-month contractual appointment (with the option to extend up to a maximum of 3 years).

Stipend: R9,274.85 per month.
2. Strategic Services Internship (Corporate Services)

Minimum Requirements:

National Diploma or Degree (minimum NQF Level 6) in Public Administration, Public Management, Development Studies, or a related field (completed qualification required at the date of application).

Valid Code B driver’s licence.
-
Fluent in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape.

Computer literate (MS Office).
-
Must not have been previously employed as an intern in the Public Sector.

Willing to work overtime and weekends.

Duration: 12-month contractual appointment (with the option to extend up to a maximum of 3 years).
