Minimum Requirements
-
A Degree in Education with a specialization in Music (or an equivalent Music Education qualification)
-
Proven experience teaching Music at school level
-
Strong background in music performance, singing, creativity, and stage presentation
-
Proficient in piano, guitar, and drums
-
Ability to teach learners to play the listed instruments confidently and progressively
-
Choir conducting experience, including managing and developing school choirs
-
Knowledge of ABRSM exam standards, preparation, and assessment
-
At least 5 years teaching experience in a structured school environment
Key Responsibilities
-
Teach classroom Music across relevant grades
-
Train learners in piano, guitar, and drum performance
-
Lead and conduct the school choir
-
Prepare learners for ABRSM music theory and practical examinations
-
Organize school music performances, concerts, and cultural events
-
Foster creativity, discipline, and a passion for music in learners
