About the Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) Programme

The WIL Programme is a structured educational approach that combines theoretical knowledge with practical experience in a workplace setting. This programme aims to support N6 graduates from TVET Colleges, providing them with the practical training required to complete their qualifications and gain workplace experience in various Engineering fields.


Internship Requirements

  • Unemployed South African citizens, aged 18–35, who have completed their N6 qualification are eligible to apply.

  • A confirmation letter from your TVET College is required, confirming that:

    • You have completed the theoretical component of your N6 studies.

    • You require practical experience to graduate.

Eligible fields of study include:

  • N6 Electrical Engineering (Electrician, Instrumentation)

  • N6 Mechanical Engineering (Fitting and Turning, Plater/Boilermaker, Welder)

  • N6 Civil Engineering (Plumber, Carpenter)

  • N6 Automotive Engineering (Motor Mechanic, Auto Electrician, Diesel Mechanic)

  • Only South African citizens may apply.
