About the Bursary:
The Northam Booysendal Platinum Mine Bursary supports deserving students who are pursuing studies in high-demand sectors. Bursaries are awarded to both current Matric students and tertiary students.

Matric Students: Bursaries awarded based on final Matric results.

Tertiary Students: Must meet academic performance criteria for their current course.
Preference will be given to students from Mashishing, Roossenekal, and Steelpoort, but students from other areas may still apply.
Eligibility Requirements:

Matric Students:

Minimum 60% for Mathematics and Physical Science

Minimum 50% for Language
-

Current Tertiary Students:
-
Minimum 60% average for major subjects
-
For technical fields: Minimum 60% for Mathematics & Physical Science, and 50% for Language

For non-technical fields (e.g., Finance): Minimum 60% for Accounting, and 50% for Language

Must be studying or intending to study in one of the listed fields

Must be accepted or registered at a recognised South African tertiary institution

Must be hardworking and self-motivated
