Key Responsibilities

As an Environmental Officer Intern, you will:

Support fieldwork, research, and sustainability projects
Analyze environmental data and assist with reporting
Collaborate on educational campaigns and community outreach
Engage in conservation and environmental compliance activities
Support ISO standards and Environmental Management Systems (EMS)
Contribute to innovation-driven team projects

Minimum Requirements

To apply, you must have:

A National Diploma in Environmental Science or Environmental Management
Knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 50001, OHSAS 18001 (advantageous)
Understanding of environmental legislation (e.g., NEMA, NEMWA, NEMAQA)
Strong skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent verbal and written communication in English
Solid report writing and data analysis skills
A team-oriented, proactive attitude
