Senior Certificate plus a three (3) year tertiary qualification:-

DUTIES:
-
Plan and independently conduct inspections to ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Act 85 of 1993, its Regulations, and incorporated Standards.

Investigate and finalise incidents and complaints related to the OHS Act; appear in court as a State witness when necessary.
-
Conduct proactive inspections as per schedule to monitor compliance with OHS and other relevant labour legislation; compile and consolidate resulting reports.

Plan and conduct advocacy campaigns on all labour legislation; analyse and report on the impact.

Contribute at a higher level to the planning, drafting, and maintenance of regional inspection plans and reports, including statistical analysis and consolidation of allocated case reports.
