Clifton School is seeking an energetic and passionate Part-Time Foundation Phase Music Teacher to join their team starting Term 1 of 2026. The ideal candidate should have experience teaching in the Preparatory Phase and be musically versatile, creative, and enthusiastic about growing the Music Department.
Minimum Requirements

Experience teaching in the Foundation/Preparatory Phase.

Ability to play the piano.

Creative and versatile teaching methods.
-
A passion for music education and performance development.
-
Strong organisational and administrative skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
-
Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
Key Responsibilities
-
Teach music as per the allocated Foundation Phase timetable.

Assist with school performances.
-
Conduct and manage the choir.
-
Support and guide musical ensembles (bells, recorder, marimba – advantageous).
