Position Overview:
Constantia Waldorf School is seeking a part-time High School Geography Teacher to start on 1 January 2026. The successful applicant will be required to teach the Grade 12 CAPS Geography curriculum. This position is limited to part-time, but there is potential for it to become full-time based on other subjects offered (especially in STEM or Life Orientation) and the needs of the school.
Key Responsibilities:

Teach Geography up to and including the Grade 12 CAPS curriculum.

Contribute to the Waldorf educational environment, integrating the school’s unique pedagogy.

Work collaboratively with a dynamic team of educators.

Take initiative and contribute creatively to the school’s educational goals.
Ideal Candidate:

Appropriate teaching qualifications for the relevant subjects and SACE registration.

Some understanding of, or a strong interest in, Waldorf education and anthroposophy.

Willingness to commit to ongoing training and development in the Waldorf approach.

Enthusiastic about teaching High School students.

Ability to work as part of a collaborative team and take initiative in creative and innovative teaching.
