Part-Time Primary School Spanish Teacher

Position Overview:

ISCT is seeking an exceptionally dedicated, creative, and nurturing Spanish teacher to join our Primary School team in a part-time capacity. The ideal candidate is passionate about language education and skilled at creating an exciting and inclusive learning environment for young learners aged 7–12.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach 7 hours per week

  • Deliver engaging, age-appropriate Spanish lessons aligned with the curriculum

  • Foster a safe, inspiring, and stimulating learning environment

  • Track, assess, and report on student progress and development

  • Teach across multiple age groups (7–12 years) with adaptable teaching strategies

  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership

  • Support students’ emotional and social development


Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or equivalent teaching qualification

  • SACE registration (in good standing)

  • Proven experience teaching in a Primary School setting

  • Proficient in using educational technology tools

  • Strong communication, planning, and classroom management skills

  • Passion for teaching and a growth mindset


Advantageous:

  • Experience teaching the Cambridge Curriculum
