About the Role:
St Peter’s Girls Prep seeks an exceptional part-time piano teacher to teach girls of varying levels, from beginner to advanced. This privately funded role is ideal for a music educator passionate about piano and developing confident, creative young musicians.
Key Responsibilities:

Teach individual piano lessons (beginner to advanced)

Prepare students for ABRSM and Trinity College London piano exams (Grades 1–5)

Maintain lesson-related administration

Contribute to the collaborative ethos of the Music Department
Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience:

A Music Degree, Licentiate, or higher-level piano qualification
-
At least 3 years’ piano teaching experience

Experience preparing students for international piano exams

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital teaching tools

Ability to play another instrument is advantageous

Must have a valid Sexual Offender’s Clearance Certificate
Skills:

Excellent organisation and communication skills

Strong interpersonal abilities and genuine love for working with children

Broad knowledge of suitable piano repertoire and teaching methodologies
