Role Overview:
The First Team Netball Coach will lead, manage, and coach the First Team Netball Squad at Cornwall Hill College. The coach will be responsible for developing players’ potential and helping them achieve their competitive goals. The role includes planning and delivering high-quality training sessions, both technical and tactical, as well as mentoring high-potential players.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead First Team Coaching: Develop and implement strategies for the First Team Netball Squad to achieve competitive excellence.

Coaching Sessions: Plan and deliver high-intensity training sessions that focus on the technical, tactical, mental, and physical development of the players.

Player Development: Identify areas for improvement and guide players to reach their full potential.

Player Pathways: Oversee the identification and mentoring of cricket scholars and high-potential players, linking them to external representative pathways (e.g., County or Provincial netball clubs).

High-Performance Standards: Drive and maintain high-performance standards within the team.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in First Team netball coaching.

Coaching qualifications: Level 1 or Level 2 Netball Coaching.

Umpiring grading and Safeguarding certificate.

A teaching qualification or relevant academic degree (e.g., Physical Education, Sports Science).

A recognised CSA Coaching Certificate or equivalent qualification.

Commitment to child protection and safeguarding standards.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Ability to create a high-performance culture within the team.

Passion for youth development and mentoring.

Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members and sports coaches.
