Job Description:

We are looking for a proactive IT Administrator to join our dynamic team at Pepkor Specialty. This role is perfect for someone with experience in IT support and systems administration who enjoys ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and offering support across the organisation. Your ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly will be key to maintaining customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • IT Support & Administration:

    • Provide first-line support to staff across the organisation for general IT needs.

    • Log and manage IT tickets, ensuring that they are escalated to the relevant teams for resolution.

  • Vendor & Finance Administration:

    • Assist with finance-related queries, including managing vendors, processing payments, and following up on invoices.

    • Manage purchase orders and provide general administrative support for finance tasks.

  • Equipment and Courier Coordination:

    • Schedule and arrange courier services for sending equipment to stores as required.

  • Employee Onboarding & Offboarding:

    • Support the onboarding and offboarding processes for employees, ensuring that IT setups are handled smoothly.

  • IT Projects & Upgrades:

    • Assist with IT projects, system upgrades, and system migrations.

  • General Administration:

    • Provide support for various administrative functions within the IT department.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Relevant IT certification (essential).

  • Experience:

    • 2–3 years of relevant experience in an IT Administrator, Systems Administrator, or IT Support role.

  • Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of Google Workspace and server environments.

    • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft 365, Azure, or Google Workspace.

    • Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

    • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

  • Soft Skills:

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Numerical ability for working with budgets and finance-related tasks.

    • Strong planning and organisational skills.

    • Customer service orientation to provide effective support.
