Overall Purpose of the Job
The Educational Psychologist plays a pivotal role in identifying cognitive, behavioural, emotional, and social factors influencing the learning process. This role involves providing psychological interventions and counselling to support both students and staff, assisting with crisis management, and contributing to program development that enhances student learning and adjustment.
Key Responsibilities

Provide counselling services to high school learners and staff

Assist with crisis intervention and emotional support

Collaborate with the School-Based Support Team (SBST) to facilitate appropriate interventions

Coordinate and present workshops promoting mental health and well-being

Maintain case records, compile reports, and submit monthly statistics

Conduct psychoeducational assessments when required

Minimum Requirements

Master’s Degree in Educational or Counselling Psychology, or a BPsych Degree
