About the Role
Roedean School (SA) invites applications for the position of Resident Tutor in the boarding house, commencing in Term 3, 2025. This is a unique opportunity for a dynamic and responsible individual to be part of a caring and supportive boarding community.
Please note: This is a non-salaried position. Compensation includes meals and accommodation provided by the school.
Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 (Matric)
-
Currently studying towards a tertiary qualification (preferred)
-
A valid driver’s licence will be advantageous

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Strong interpersonal skills and emotional maturity

A genuine interest in the well-being of students

Ability to work collaboratively as part of the boarding team

Responsible, reliable, and adaptable
Key Responsibilities
-
Plan and implement weekend outings for boarders

Provide academic tutoring and support to boarders as needed

Assist the Matron with weekend duties and general supervision

Oversee Prep times (evening study sessions) during the week

Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by the Head of Boarding
