Position Overview
We invite applications for an exceptional Afrikaans Teacher to join our Senior Prep (Grade 6–7) teaching team. The ideal candidate is passionate about language learning, committed to developing a love and competence in Afrikaans, and capable of teaching in a way that inspires and motivates boys.
Key Responsibilities

Teach Afrikaans to Grade 6 and 7 learners

Develop and deliver creative, engaging lessons aligned with St Peter’s pedagogy

Promote the school’s values and attributes through classroom and community engagement

Participate in extracurricular activities, including Saturday sports fixtures

Contribute to curriculum innovation and co-curricular initiatives

Collaborate in team teaching and ongoing professional development
Minimum Requirements

Relevant teaching qualification
-
Minimum 3 years of Afrikaans teaching experience at senior prep level

Valid SACE registration
-
Ability to contribute to boys’ sport (advantageous)
