✅ REQUIREMENTS:

NQF Level 4 (Grade 12) or equivalent
-
FET Certificate in Child and Youth Care (NQF Level 4), registered with SAQA
-
Minimum 10 years relevant experience after qualification
-
Current registration with South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP)
Knowledge & Skills:

Child Care Act, Batho Pele Principles, minimum standards, performance management

Administrative procedures and new methodologies in child & youth care

Communication, conflict management, problem-solving

Policy and legislation interpretation

Planning, organising, research, analytical, presentation, facilitation skills

📝 DUTIES:

Facilitate and supervise care and life space interventions for children and youth

Participate in multidisciplinary teams

Supervise staff to ensure effective care services

Perform clerical/administrative tasks

Stay updated on child and youth care developments

Manage Child & Youth Care information system (CYCA)
