Position Overview
WHPS is looking to appoint a caring and reliable Teacher Assistant for the 2–3 year old class in the Pre-Prep phase. This individual will support the lead teacher in providing a safe, warm, and stimulating learning environment for young children.
Minimum Requirements

3–5 years of experience working with children aged 2–3 in a pre-school or ECD setting
-
ECD-related training/certification is advantageous
-
Nurturing, calm, patient, and attentive to children’s developmental needs

Able to assist with:
-
Snack time and daily routines
-
Toilet training and nappy changing
-
Nap supervision
-
Learning and play-based activities (sensory, music, motor skills)

-
Flexible and willing to assist wherever needed (classroom, playground, etc.)

Prepared to align with the school’s Christian ethos and values
-
First Aid training, or willingness to complete within the first few months
-
Clear criminal record and compliance with child protection regulations
