Purpose of Role
The Facilities Maintenance Staff ensures that school buildings, gardens, and grounds are well-maintained, clean, and safe, contributing to a world-class learning environment.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain the upkeep of school buildings, gardens, and grounds.

Report and assist with repairs for facilities maintenance issues.

Ensure the safety of the school premises for students, staff, and parents.

Assist with student arrivals and dismissals, as required.

Manage tools and equipment, reporting any damages or losses.

Assist with operational tasks, such as moving furniture or setting up for events.

Collaborate professionally with staff, parents, and stakeholders.

Participate in staff development and conduct oneself professionally at events.
Qualifications & Requirements

English fluency.

Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or groundskeeping.

Police clearance certificate.

Grade 12/Matric certificate.
