About the Role
The Program Manager will serve as Education Sector Lead within the Africa Career Networks (ACN), overseeing the AL for Education community. The role combines strategic partnership-building, program management, and alumni network engagement to help young Africans explore and thrive in education careers.
Key Responsibilities
Employer Partnerships & Placements

Build and maintain a strong network of education employer partners across Africa

Manage recruitment pipelines, internship and job placements

Promote opportunities to alumni/scholars and facilitate applications

Maintain CRM data and reports (Salesforce)
Program Management

Deliver sector programs (Apprenticeship Program, Sector Challenge)

Curate workshops, webinars, and speaker series for education career pathways

Collaborate with other sector leads to share best practices

Design programs for relevance, quality, and impact
Network Engagement & Communications

Manage the AL for Education community on ACN platforms

Lead/support regional events and virtual convenings

Work with communications lead to strengthen brand, storytelling, and thought leadership

Support advisory boards and sector councils as needed
Minimum Requirements
Education & Experience
-
5+ years relevant experience in education, workforce development, or related fields

2–3 years managerial experience

Entrepreneurial, persistent, and skilled in partnership development

Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
