Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Must be a South African citizen (born in South Africa)

Aged 17–25 years
-
Must have Previously Disadvantaged Individual (PDI) status

Currently in Matric (2025) or already completed Matric
-
Must take Pure Mathematics and Physical Science (not Maths Literacy)
-
Achieved minimum 75% overall average in Matric
-
If studying at tertiary level, must have achieved at least 65% in the previous academic year
-
Must intend to study or be registered full-time in one of the approved fields
-
Must study at an accredited South African institution
