Qotho Minerals is inviting unemployed South African graduates to apply for a 12-month Quality & Laboratory Internship. This programme offers hands-on experience in a lab environment that supports:

Position: Quality & Laboratory Intern (Data Processing & Analytics emphasis)

Duration: 12 months

Working Hours: Monday–Friday

Reporting To: Quality Manager
🧰 Key Responsibilities
🔹 Quality System Support
-
Document control (filing, tracking, distribution)
-
Audit preparation
-
Logging non-conformances & corrective actions
-
Assisting with vendor evaluations
🔹 Laboratory & Production Support
-
Assist with basic sample prep and analytical chemistry
-
Monitor QA/QC processes
-
Support PT and CRM teams with labeling and recordkeeping
🔹 Data Management & Analysis
-
Compile, process, and present data in Microsoft Excel
-
Assist in homogeneity and stability studies
-
Generate QC charts and reports
🎓 Minimum Requirements
📘 Education:
-
A 3-year tertiary qualification (completed) in one of the following:
-
Chemistry
-
Analytical Chemistry
-
Agricultural Science
-
Food Science
-
Geoscience
-
Or another Natural Science field
-
🧑💻 Technical Skills:
-
Essential: Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Advantageous:

Basic lab techniques

Understanding of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP)
