Main Purpose of the Role

The Receptionist and Office Administrator will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, ensuring a professional, welcoming atmosphere and providing comprehensive administrative support for daily operations within the branch.


Key Responsibilities

Reception & Front Desk Duties

  • Greet visitors and manage access control

  • Answer and redirect calls from the Epsidon Holdings switchboard

  • Maintain a neat, presentable reception area

  • Prepare and maintain the coffee station daily

  • Manage meeting room calendars and assist with meeting setups

  • Receive, log, and distribute mail and deliveries

  • Coordinate and train relief reception staff

General Office Duties

  • Report building-related issues to Branch Manager or landlord

  • Ensure telephone systems function optimally (liaise with IT)

  • Coordinate with other regional PAs for maintenance needs

Administrative Tasks

  • Manage inventory and ordering of office supplies and stationery

  • Maintain marketing material inventories

  • Update health and safety registers and cleaning checklists

  • Track training attendance and manage shared leave calendars


Requirements

  • Matric Certificate (Grade 12)

  • 2–3 years’ experience in a similar receptionist/admin role

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

  • Fluent in English

  • Own reliable transport and valid driver’s license
