About the Role

As the first point of contact at the campus, the Receptionist will welcome visitors, manage switchboard operations, and support day-to-day front desk activities. This role is key in creating a professional, organized environment while providing excellent customer service to students, parents, and staff.


Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and direct visitors, students, and parents professionally and warmly.

  • Operate switchboard efficiently, screening and directing calls, taking detailed messages when needed.

  • Manage reception area upkeep and ensure orderly distribution of correspondence and promotional materials.

  • Support Marketing and Student Recruitment teams with appointments and diary management.

  • Handle mailroom and courier services, tracking and reporting deliveries.

  • Assist with administrative duties such as updating databases, managing bookings, processing forms, and supporting school events.

  • Provide basic first aid and support admissions and school tours.

  • Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate excellent telephone etiquette.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Matric certificate or equivalent with typing skills.

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a busy reception or customer service environment.

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and MS Access.

  • Experience with “STASY” Student Administration System or a related system is essential.
