REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Grade 12

  • Experience: No experience required

  • Driver’s License: Advantageous

  • Skills & Competencies:

    • Knowledge of registry processes, working procedures, storage, and retrieval.

    • Understanding of Public Service legislative frameworks.

    • Knowledge of filing systems, mail procedures, Promotion of Access to Information Act, and National Archives.

    • Batho Pele Principles, computer literacy (Microsoft Office), communication, numeracy, interpersonal skills.

    • Problem-solving, time management, administrative skills, accuracy, teamwork, ability to work independently and under pressure, attention to detail, flexibility.


DUTIES:

  • Provide case flow management support services to the Court.

  • Attend to stakeholders’ enquiries and correspondence.

  • Ensure proper filing and safekeeping of all court records.

  • Administer appeal and petition processes, including processing and filing applications for Leave to Appeal.

  • Provide administrative support in the Registrar’s office.

  • Prepare, analyse, and submit court statistics.

  • Maintain registers for civil and criminal matters, including provisional rolls.

  • Upload and update case information on registrar tools, Court Online, and Caseline.

  • Issue court processes at the General Office, including online.

  • Manage public queries, filing, and archiving of civil processes.

  • Provide general administrative support as required by the Chief Registrar or Court Manager.
