Job Description
Birkenstock in Mall of North is looking for two Sales Assistants to join their team. If you’re passionate about retail, customer service, and working with a positive team, this opportunity is for you.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Sales

Acknowledge every customer within 30 seconds.

Deliver excellent customer service following Birkenstock’s standards.

Establish customer needs and use product knowledge to meet them.

Close sales and secure add-on sales.

Turn customers into loyal Birkenstock fans.

Monitor your daily sales against your individual budget.
Inventory Management
-
Replenish stock (footwear, apparel, accessories).
-
Minimize shrinkage by following in-store policies.

Ensure accurate stock entries in POS system.
-
Process deliveries, invoices, tagging, pricing, and customer orders.
Daily Operations
-
Maintain store housekeeping (cleaning, tidying, dusting, etc.).

Assist the manager with opening and closing the store.
Training
-
Take responsibility for your own training and development.
-
Work with a buddy initially and attend quarterly training sessions.
-
Complete assessments and engage in monthly feedback sessions.
Merchandising
-
Maintain store presentation according to Birkenstock standards.

Replenish sizes and assist with mannequin/window changes fortnightly.
-
Care for POS materials and stock displays.
Requirements
-
Grade 12 / Equivalent
-
Minimum 6 months customer service experience

Birkenstock knowledge advantageous
