Job Description
Are you a motivated and focused individual ready to make a real impact? Sage is looking for a Sales Intern: Payroll to join the team at its Midrand Offices. This role gives you the opportunity to work closely with sales professionals in the Medium and Small segments, supporting quoting and administrative functions.
What Will the Programme Look Like?
As a Sales Intern, you will:

Assist with quoting, verifying tax country and branch, calculating Sales GP on CRM.

Create and manage opportunities on CRM and Salesforce.

Email quotes, follow up with customers, schedule and confirm appointments.
-
Cold-call potential customers and research their companies.
-
Handle opportunity entries in Smart Sheets and coordinate confirmations with ASMs.

Join sales demos, take minutes, assist with quotations, and complete due diligence forms.

Redirect incorrect queries and load escalation webforms on behalf of clients.
Key Responsibilities

Use CRM and Salesforce to manage opportunities and quotations.

Coordinate with ASMs to manage opportunity data and scheduling.

Support inside sales with lead allocations and business partner sheets.

Conduct research and complete administrative tasks supporting sales processes.
What Will Make You Successful?
✅ Grade 12 with Accounting
✅ Commerce qualification (Accounting or Economics preferred)
✅ Basic Microsoft Excel skills
✅ Clear criminal record
✅ Excellent verbal & written communication
✅ Detail-oriented and proactive
✅ Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
✅ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
