Organisational Description
The Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls (OWLAG) is a premier residential boarding school in Meyerton, Gauteng, committed to developing dynamic women leaders. With over 300 students from Grades 8 to 12, the Academy offers a holistic education and writes the Independent Examination Board (IEB) NSC examinations.

Minimum Academic Requirements and Experience

Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology
-
Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
-
Up-to-date CPD portfolio
-
Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Educational Psychologist
-
Minimum 3 years’ management or leadership experience
-
Experience working with vulnerable or trauma-affected youth
-
Experience in promoting academic, psychological, and social development
-
Experience in multi-disciplinary teams
Main Purpose of the Job
To lead, manage, and oversee the Psychology Unit’s daily operations and strategic direction in alignment with the Academy’s vision. The incumbent will deliver high-quality psychological services, supervise departmental operations, implement evidence-based interventions, and foster collaboration with key stakeholders.
Responsibilities include:
