Position Overview
Redhill School, a leading independent, co-educational school in Johannesburg, is seeking to appoint a Senior English Teacher to join its dynamic academic team. The role involves teaching English at the senior level and contributing to the growth of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme.
Key Requirements

A relevant teaching qualification and a degree in English or a related field

SACE registration
-
Experience in teaching the IB Diploma Programme English is highly advantageous
-
Alternatively, willingness to train and collaborate closely with the current IB English teacher

Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary literature

A proven track record of teaching excellence at the FET Phase (Grades 10–12)

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

A passion for student-centred learning and critical thinking
