Role Summary
Bridge House is seeking a Senior History Teacher with strong leadership capabilities and a passion for education. This is a senior position that requires experience in the IEB curriculum, particularly at Grade 12 level.
Minimum Requirements
The ideal candidate will:

Have the innate ability to connect with children

Possess the skills and experience to lead the History department

Have extensive experience teaching the IEB History curriculum to Grade 12 (non-negotiable)

Be an IEB Matric sub-examiner (advantageous)

Be passionate about History and open to innovative teaching approaches

Demonstrate excellent organisation and communication skills

Embrace technology to enhance learning

Be willing to actively participate in school life and extra-curricular programmes
