Job Purpose:
As a Senior IT Technician at Adams & Adams, you will be responsible for providing advanced technical support and maintenance across the firm’s IT infrastructure. This includes managing desktops, laptops, cloud services, and enterprise applications. Your role will involve troubleshooting complex technical issues, managing Microsoft 365 and Azure AD environments, supporting user onboarding, and collaborating with system administrators to ensure secure and efficient IT operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support: Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for desktops, laptops, peripheral devices, and applications such as Microsoft 365, Azure AD, NetDocuments, and MySQL.

Deployment & Maintenance: Deploy, configure, and maintain desktops and laptops using imaging and deployment tools like MDT, Intune, or SCCM.

System Administration: Manage issues related to Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint), Azure Active Directory, and NetDocuments.

Cloud Server Maintenance: Assist in cloud server monitoring, maintenance, and backup management (Azure, AWS, or equivalent).

IT Asset Management: Maintain accurate records of IT assets and ensure technical procedures are well-documented.

User Management: Assist in the onboarding/offboarding process, including account setups, access permissions, and hardware allocation.

Troubleshooting: Provide hardware, software, and network troubleshooting support and manage support tickets via ManageEngine.

Collaboration: Work with system administrators, vendors, and application owners to resolve escalated technical issues and collaborate on IT projects.

Security & Compliance: Ensure compliance with security policies and confidentiality protocols in all IT operations.

Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvements and innovation initiatives to enhance service delivery and user experience.
Key Skills & Competencies:

Microsoft 365 Administration: Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).

Azure AD: In-depth understanding of Azure Active Directory (user provisioning, SSO, group policies).

Document Management Systems: Experience with NetDocuments or similar systems.

Cloud & Server Management: Familiarity with cloud environments like Azure and AWS.

Troubleshooting: Advanced hardware, software, and network troubleshooting skills.

Database Management: Working knowledge of MySQL databases (queries, backups, and maintenance).

Qualifications & Experience:

Education: Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or related field.

5–7 years in IT support or technical services, with professional services or law firm experience being an advantage.
