About the Role
Reddam House Umhlanga seeks a dynamic and experienced Senior Preparatory Mathematics Teacher to provide strong leadership and ensure a holistic, high-quality educational experience for students. Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and present engaging, interactive Mathematics lessons.

Establish a nurturing teaching environment that promotes active learning.

Maintain professionalism regarding punctuality, behavior, and standards of work.

Evaluate, reflect on, and refine teaching practice.

Teach academic support lessons as required.

Produce high-quality documents and worksheets for students.

Respond to parent communications within 24 hours.

Prepare fair and transparent report comments.

Participate in extracurricular activities and school events.

Continuously develop teaching skills through professional development opportunities.
Requirements

Undergraduate degree with a postgraduate teaching diploma.

SACE registration.

Senior Preparatory teaching experience in Mathematics.

Thorough understanding of Senior Preparatory Mathematics curriculum.

Confidence using ICT in teaching.

Excellent planning, organizational, and reporting skills.

Strong communication skills (oral, written, and presentation).

Excellent interpersonal skills and team orientation.

Previous experience with the IEB Programme.
