Position Summary
Dainfern College invites applications for a full-time Physical Education Teacher & Sports Coach in the Senior Preparatory School (Grades 4–7). The successful candidate will teach both girls and boys’ Physical Education within the Life Orientation curriculum and actively coach in the College’s sports programme.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver Physical Education lessons to Grades 4–7

Implement Life Orientation curriculum through PE

Coach various sports across seasonal programmes

Attend scheduled workshops, meetings, and identified Saturday activities

Contribute to a dynamic and inclusive extramural programme
-
Foster the physical and emotional development of learners
-
Promote the ethos of positive education and a sense of belonging
Minimum Requirements
-
Relevant teaching qualification and SACE accreditation
-
Proven experience teaching Physical Education at primary/intermediate school level
-
Sound knowledge of child development (Grades 4–7 age group)

Proficiency in coaching a variety of sporting codes
-
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and administrative skills
