Service and Marketing Co-Ordinator Position

Purpose of the Role

The Service and Marketing Co-Ordinator will play a vital role in managing the school’s community engagement, service initiatives, and marketing efforts. The position involves coordinating partnerships with service organisations, overseeing student service projects, and assisting the Marketing Department with sponsorships, fundraising, and communication. This is an essential role in maintaining smooth collaboration between students, service partners, sponsors, and the broader school community.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Service Partnerships and Outings

    • Establish and maintain partnerships with service organisations.

    • Coordinate student service outings and collections.

  2. President’s Award Programme

    • Act as a liaison for the President’s Award Programme, ensuring that students meet the necessary criteria and engage with the service opportunities.

  3. Service Activities, Sponsorships, and Fundraising

    • Plan and manage school fundraising efforts.

    • Seek out and manage sponsorship opportunities for service and marketing initiatives.

  4. Marketing and Communication Support

    • Assist the Marketing Department with communication strategies, including digital marketing and outreach.

    • Manage sponsorship communications and help raise awareness about the school’s initiatives.

  5. Communication and Administration

    • Handle administrative duties related to service projects, sponsorships, and events.

    • Use communication platforms effectively to engage with stakeholders.

  6. Collaboration and School Culture

    • Work closely with various school departments to ensure service and marketing activities align with the school’s ethos and values.


Skills and Attributes

  • Exceptional administrative and organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.

  • Strong digital literacy, including experience with cloud-based systems (e.g. Google Drive, app management).

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.

  • Proactive, flexible, and reliable in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

  • Creative thinking and marketing awareness, with an eye for detail.

  • Commitment to youth development, service, and community engagement.


Qualifications and Experience

  • Relevant qualification in administration, marketing, communications, or a related field.

  • Experience coordinating service projects, youth programmes, events, or marketing campaigns.

  • Experience with digital content management or communication platforms is advantageous.

  • Prior experience in a school or non-profit environment is preferred.
