St Peter’s College, an independent Anglican Diocesan school for boys and girls from Grade 8 to Grade 12, is seeking to appoint a Human Resources Manager to lead and manage the College’s HR function.
The position focuses on aligning HR strategy with the school’s mission and values while fostering a culture of professionalism, care, and collaboration across all departments.
Founded in 1998 and located in northern Sandton, St Peter’s College offers a holistic, values-driven education promoting academic excellence, spiritual growth, creativity, sport, and community engagement.
Academic Requirements and Experience

Relevant qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or a related field.

Registration with a professional body (e.g. HPCSA or SABPP) is advantageous.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an HR role (preferably within an educational environment).

Proven experience in HR strategy, employee relations, performance management, and organisational development.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with labour legislation and uphold best HR standards.

Champion transformation, diversity, and inclusion initiatives.

Manage HR systems, employee records, and reporting functions.

Facilitate professional development and training programmes.

Act as a trusted advisor to staff and leadership on HR matters.
