Stanford Lake College is seeking a Computer Applications Technology (CAT) and Computer Literacy Teacher to join their academic team. This full-time position reports to the Headmistress of Academics.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Computer Applications Technology (Grades 10–12) and IT skills (Grades 8–9)

• Troubleshoot IT infrastructure and provide desktop support when needed

• Participate in extra-curricular programs and boarding duties

• Embrace cognitive education and effective technology use in the classroom

• Maintain an open, creative outlook and align with the school’s values and ethos

• Possess strong organisational, administrative, and interpersonal skills with students, colleagues, and parents

Optional / Advantageous Duties:

• Help manage school social media platforms and create marketing content

• Assist with school photography

Requirements

• B.Ed or PGCE

• Current SACE registration

• Clean criminal record

• Experience teaching CAT and Computer Literacy, preferably in the IEB syllabus

• Ability to guide and support Grade 12 learners in their PAT projects

• Working knowledge of school administration programs is advantageous
