Programme Overview

Stibium Mining South Africa invites unemployed South African students currently registered at Universities of Technology or FET/TVET Colleges to apply for its Work Experience Programme 2025.
This initiative offers hands-on industry exposure in key mining disciplines.

Female candidates and persons with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.


Available Disciplines & Reference Numbers

  • Metallurgical Engineering (x2) – Ref: Met/Grad2025

  • Geology (x1) – Ref: Geo/Grad2025

  • Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current) (x2) – Ref: Elec/Grad2025

  • Analytical Chemistry (x1) – Ref: AC/Grad2025

  • Instrumentation Processing (x1) – Ref: IP/Grad2025

  • Occupational Hygiene (x1) – Ref: OH/Grad2025

  • Human Resources (x1) – Ref: HR/Grad2025


Minimum Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Be South African citizens aged 18–35 years

  • Be unemployed and registered at a University of Technology or FET/TVET College

  • Have a letter from their institution confirming the need for work-integrated learning (WIL)

  • Have no criminal record

  • Preferably reside in the Mopani District

  3. Certified copy of ID

  4. Certified copy of Matric certificate

  5. Academic transcript

  6. Letter from tertiary institution confirming WIL requirement

  7. Proof of residence
