📌 About the Role:
Fedics is looking to hire a Storekeeper responsible for managing stock across dry stores, fridges, freezers, and chemical stores. This includes issuing stock based on portion control specifications and maintaining accurate inventory records in line with health and safety standards.
🧰 Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Place and manage orders to maintain stock levels within approved limits.

Liaise with management for purchases outside approved financial parameters.

Order only from approved suppliers unless otherwise authorized.

Ensure goods received are accurate, of expected quality, and priced correctly.
-
Complete all delivery-related documentation accurately and timeously.
-
Address and report issues such as non-delivery, poor quality, or overpricing.

Store items according to food safety standards: temperature, humidity, shelf life.

Enforce First In, First Out (FIFO) system for issuing stock.

Issue stock only with proper requisitions and signatures.

Maintain security of storerooms — no unauthorized access or key sharing.

Report any spoilage or damage per company procedures.

Conduct regular stock counts and complete related admin tasks.

Attend any required meetings or training.
