TsAfrika Catering Solutions, part of Tsebo Solutions Group, is looking for a Storeman to join their team in Centurion. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing stock levels, monitoring expiry dates, ensuring proper storage conditions, and ensuring all stock is received and issued according to company policies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Stock Management: Administer the ordering of food, beverage, and resale items. Ensure all stock is received according to TsAfrika policies.

  • Inventory Control: Issue stock in fridges, freezers, dry stores, and chemical stores according to company specifications.

  • Costing & Invoicing: Ensure the timely and accurate costing of stock, meals, and functions on a daily basis. Receive invoices on My Market.

  • Stocktaking: Conduct weekly stocktakes to maintain accurate stock records.

  • Hygiene Standards: Maintain high-quality hygiene standards as per TsAfrika guidelines.

  • Stock Planning: Plan for consecutive days to ensure stock availability and report stock unavailability.

  • Storeroom Management: Ensure storerooms, fridges, and freezers are clean and well-organized. Implement stock rotation.

  • Wastage Management: Manage wastage and leftovers effectively.

  • Supplier & Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and clients.

  • Product Quality Monitoring: Report on product quality and take action where necessary.

  • Handovers: Ensure proper handovers when required.


Skills and Competencies:

  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Customer Service: Excellent client and customer service skills.

  • Computer Literate: Proficiency in basic computer tasks, including using My Market.

  • Food & Beverage Knowledge: Solid understanding of food and beverage management.

  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively within a team.

  • Attention to Detail: Focused on maintaining high standards in stock management and hygiene.

  • Multitasking: Capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.

  • Professionalism: Punctual, reliable, and professional in all interactions.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Matric/Grade 12.

  • Proven experience in costing, stock control, and storekeeping (preferably in the food industry).

  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
