About the Role

Trinityhouse, part of the ADvTECH Group—Africa’s leading private education provider—is seeking an Accounting Teacher (FET Phase) to join their team. This role involves delivering a future-focused curriculum that empowers students, fosters critical thinking, and prepares learners for life beyond high school.


Key Responsibilities

  • Academic Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging, effective Accounting lessons for FET phase learners.

  • Assessment & Reporting: Track student progress, provide timely feedback, and prepare reports.

  • Student Behaviour Management: Foster a respectful, inspiring, and inclusive learning environment.

  • Brand Ambassadorship: Represent the values and excellence of the Trinityhouse and ADvTECH brands.

  • Administration: Maintain accurate records and contribute to school planning and events.

  • Health & Safety: Uphold safety standards in all school-related activities.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) + PGCE or B.Ed (FET) with specialization in Accounting

  • Certifications:

    • SACE registration (required)

    • Police clearance

    • First Aid training (advantageous)

  • Experience:

    • 2–5 years teaching experience

    • Experience teaching Accounting at FET phase

  • Skills:

    • Computer and digital literacy

    • Effective classroom management and lesson planning

    • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
