Job Overview
ADvTECH seeks an FET teacher for Afrikaans First Additional Language and Life Orientation to plan, organize, and deliver engaging instructional programs in a high school environment. The role supports students in reaching their academic potential while fostering integrity, collaboration, and a positive school culture.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver future-focused Afrikaans and Life Orientation education

Assess student performance and report accurately

Manage student behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment

Act as a school brand ambassador

Maintain administration, health, and safety compliance

Build positive partnerships with colleagues, parents, and the community
Qualifications & Experience

Degree (NQF Level 7) + PGCE or B.Ed (FET) with specialization in Afrikaans / Life Orientation

SACE certification & police clearance
-
2–5 years teaching experience, including specialist subject teaching

Computer and digital literacy

First Aid certification
