ADvTECH, the leading provider of private education in Africa, seeks a part-time Computer Science teacher to teach Cambridge AS and IGCSE students through their Evolve Online School. This remote position offers the opportunity to deliver flexible and inspiring education, preparing students for academic success and life after graduation.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and implement instructional programs for Computer Science in the FET phase, focusing on Cambridge AS & IGCSE curricula.

Inspire, motivate, and challenge students, creating a future-focused learning environment.

Maintain professionalism, integrity, and strong character in all interactions.

Develop and maintain productive relationships with colleagues, parents, and the wider community.

Communicate positively and collaborate with all members of the learning community.

Manage academic delivery, assessments, and student behavior while contributing to the school’s administration and health & safety initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:

A degree (NQF level 7) and PGCE or B.Ed (FET) with a specialization in Computer Science or a related field.

SACE certification and police clearance are mandatory.

2-5 years of teaching experience, with a specialization in Computer Science or related subjects.

Strong computer and digital literacy skills.

First Aid certification is advantageous.
