ADvTECH, the leading provider of private education in Africa, is looking for a part-time FET Design Studies teacher for their Evolve Online School. This remote position involves delivering a flexible, engaging, and future-focused education to students, helping them reach their academic potential and preparing them for life beyond graduation.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and implement instructional programs for high school students in Design Studies.

Deliver education that motivates, inspires, and challenges students.

Develop and maintain constructive partnerships with colleagues, parents, and the broader community.
-
Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and strong character at all times.

Communicate effectively and collaborate positively with all members of the learning community.
-
Ensure student behavior management, academic assessment, and reporting are in line with school standards.

Serve as an ambassador for the school brand and contribute to school administration and health & safety initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:

A degree (NQF level 7) and PGCE or B.Ed (FET) with a specialization in Design Studies or related field.

SACE certification and police clearance are mandatory.

2-5 years of teaching experience, with 2-5 years specializing in Design Studies or a related subject.

Proficiency in computer and digital literacy.

First Aid certification is advantageous.
