Role Overview
The Foundation Phase Teacher will design and deliver engaging learning experiences that build strong literacy, numeracy, and foundational life skills for Grade 1 learners. The educator will foster curiosity, critical thinking, and confidence in young learners within a supportive, collaborative school environment.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver innovative and inspiring lessons that promote mastery and engagement.

Assess, report, and monitor student progress according to academic standards.

Support and manage student behaviour with empathy and professionalism.

Maintain accurate administrative records and comply with health & safety policies.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor of Education (Foundation Phase) or equivalent ECD qualification (NQF Level 6).

PGCE required for non-teaching degrees (e.g., Psychology).

SACE registration and police clearance (mandatory).

2–5 years of classroom teaching experience.

Computer and digital literacy essential.

Valid First Aid certification preferred.
