Kearsney College invites applications for the Teacher Intern: Inclusive Education programme — an opportunity for passionate aspiring educators to gain hands-on experience supporting pupils with learning barriers. This immersive role combines academic, pastoral, sporting, and cultural involvement within a leading boys’ boarding school environment.

🧩 Key Responsibilities

Administer educational assessments (e.g., Edinburgh Reading Assessments)

Assist with IEB accommodation applications

Provide weekly literacy support to Grade 8 pupils

Manage the junior separate venue for cycle tests and exams

Collaborate with the inclusion team to support Grades 8–12

Observe pupils and provide feedback/support to teachers and learners
🎓 Ideal Candidate

Completed B.Ed (GET/FET phase) and registered for part-time postgraduate studies in Inclusive Education (2026)
