Job Overview
ADvTECH is seeking a FET Mathematics / Mathematical Literacy teacher to plan, organize, and deliver instructional programs that inspire, challenge, and prepare high school students for academic success and life after graduation. Educators are expected to foster a positive learning environment while supporting social, emotional, and intellectual development.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver future-focused Mathematics/Mathematical Literacy education

Assess and report on student performance

Manage student behaviour and maintain a positive classroom environment

Act as a school brand ambassador

Maintain administration, health, and safety compliance

Build partnerships with colleagues, parents, and the community
Qualifications & Experience

Degree (NQF Level 7) + PGCE or B.Ed (FET) with Mathematics specialization

SACE certification & police clearance
-
2–5 years teaching experience, including specialist subject teaching

Computer and digital literacy

First Aid certification
