About the Role
The Natural Sciences Teacher will play a pivotal role in the Intersen Phase at The Bridge School. The successful candidate will teach Natural Sciences, helping students establish and build strong foundations while guiding them toward abstract thinking and independent work across various scientific disciplines. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, entry-level educator to join a forward-thinking school.
Key Responsibilities

Teach Natural Sciences to Intersen Phase students.

Deliver future-focused education that motivates, challenges, and inspires students.

Foster strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents to support student success.

Communicate and collaborate with the broader learning community in a positive, respectful, and open-minded manner.

Ensure academic delivery and assessment is of the highest quality.

Manage student behaviour in line with the school’s expectations.

Represent the school as a brand ambassador in the community.

Contribute to administrative tasks and ensure the health and safety of students.
Qualifications & Experience
-
Undergraduate degree (NQF Level 6) and PGCE or B.Ed. (Intermediate, Intersen, or Senior Phase).

SACE certification and Police Clearance required.

2–5 years of teaching experience.

Proficiency in computer and digital literacy.

First Aid certification preferred.
