The Position: Teacher/Principal (Starting January 2026)
Sagewood is seeking an experienced educator and visionary leader to serve as both Principal and class teacher. Due to the school’s small size, the Principal will also hold a teaching role. Two teaching posts are available for 2026: Grade 3 and Grade 5. The successful candidate must meet all requirements for both the principalship and a teaching post.

Minimum Requirements

A Bachelor of Education degree from a recognized institution

Minimum 5 years’ teaching experience in Foundation and/or Intermediate Phase
-
SACE registration (valid and up to date)

Excellent command of the English language

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

Proven ability to manage people and resources
